So the last toy I mentioned on my blog was probably the purple psp from Christmas perhaps two or three years ago. Currently, that purple psp is lying dead somewhere because it got broken by someone whom I shall not mention, and been replaced by an ugly black psp, which I didn't settle for and got another purple psp, but that one is being held hostage right now by someone, so now I am psp-less. Which is ok because I have a new toy to play with.
This one was given to me by my brother~ it is called Ninja. Like literally, it is called Ninja.

I haven't taken any good photos of this, nor used it very much. It was only opened today because we were waiting for the TRANSFORMER.

*cue Optimus Prime theme* Yep, it's an American product which my brother got for quite cheap (he refused to tell me how much when I offered to pay because he emphasized it's a present XD ) from Amazon. Apparently, he was looking at all these blenders and food processors, doing his research and determining how crap Cuisinart and those other blenders available in Australia are before settling on this one because it had crazy good reviews from practically everyone who bought it.

There is the complete kitchen system, or there is this: a smaller version which does away with all the buttons and really only have ONE function- to pulse. That's all you need anyway.

Already used and drying so I didn't bother taking proper photos. My brother is really into Liana Raine Artisan Pops recently. They have a pop up cart right in front of the Opera House this summer, selling different popsicles. Some are really creative, like balsamic roasted strawberry flavor, or their lemonade and watermelon popsicle, which is always a popular one. They are so good because all ingredients are mainly fresh fruits blended and frozen into popsicles. My brother wanted to make his own this summer and he just tried it today- that's why this has been used already.
You can't really see it, but the blade isn't normal. There's two blades- one in the middle of the attachment, and one at the bottom, so it cuts everything really evenly.

Forgive the blurry pics.. but with those attachments, you can make...

Dough!!! Ninjya (I keep typing Ninjya instead of Ninja, so that's its name from now on) can do food processing too! I always wondered about that actually... whether getting a blender can make dough as well. After reading up on it, answer is no, you can't use a blender like a food processor, but with Ninjya, it's possible!

Comes in two parts- there's the larger "bowl", where you can food process dough or mix stuff as well as chop stuff and blend stuff, or there's there smaller individual serve cup, which I used to make my own smoothie.

Of course, the ultimate test for ANY blender is whether it can blend ice. So I chucked into the cup a few strawberries, two passionfruits and a handful of ice straight from the freezer. To pulse, one simply has to hold the cup down and it just goes.
Verdict? Crazy.
I could have blended it further to make it much smoother than what it was, but the ice completely blended into a slushie and incorporated the fruits together into one delicious smoothie. I prefer to keep some passionfruit seeds not too fine so I can crunch on them and get them stuck in my teeth. I foresee much usage of this toy and my first try on it has been fun! Can't wait to chuck green apples into Ninjya for one of those fresh tart apple juice XD
